La Guyennoise

  Michel Martin, founder of La Guyennoise, descends from several generations of wine growers. Both his grandfathers, Camille Hostein from Moulon and Ulysses Martin from Rauzan, were talented and respected producers. His father, Pierre Martin, founded the wine cooperative of Rauzan and presided over the National Federation of French Wine Cooperatives for thirty-five years.

The story began in the 1950s when the estates of Cazeau and Pérey were founded. Encompassing three hundred hectares of vineyards, they are completed by Château Gandoy-Perrinat with a hundred hectares, composed by both red and white grape varieties. The total area accounts for four hundred hectares with an annual production capacity of three million bottles exclusively traded by La Guyennoise. These fine wines are made from grape varieties perfectly adapted to the terroir - legacy of several generations of winemakers - and are consistently awarded and recognized for their quality.

In November 2016, Michel Martin left his place to a new major actor among “La Place de Bordeaux” : the Maison Le Star group, founded by Guillaume Brochard.
Former entrepreneur in the luxury sector and passionate about the wine, Mister Brochard is now at the head of two historic wine merchants, six estates, and one importing company based in China.
